Burning Man is about to begin. Andrew and I are driving 10 hrs from LA to Reno tomorrow to pick up Josh and Joe and then head to the playa on Thursday am...we'll be sitting in a jacuzzi and playing a few hands of blackjack in betwen. We have 5 bikes I bought on Craig's List, a rented sorry excuse for a pickup truck, no food or water at the moment, but at least we have headlamps and Josh has a pillow.
So far, BM has been happening in Sebastopol, where my beloved "El Dicktator" has been managing the formation of the Uber Tuber Camp. Trials and tribulations include: a tire that popped off the Mr Potatohead Mobile, a trailer with no functioning lights where the gracious Duncan and Mary are shacking up, and one food-poisoned cousin Joel.
We have far flung freaks from Bangkok to Baghdad...a few from Mexico...lots of shirtless gay guys, and very few meat eaters. No blogging from there, but this blog will become a dusty repository for what is to come, and what, at that point, will have been.

The gift show is in nyc this week. I call it the yardsale of tomorrow because it's usually chock-full of things you'll regret buying when you get them home. I'm pretty sure the aviary theme in pillowcases and sheets will be in full-flight.
Our MileHigh products are represented there, in one of the only booths with a dj no less. And we do stand out amidst the candles and swarovski crystal horse figurines. Here's a couple of our new prods, which are debuting at the show this week.
Daftpunk in Brooklyn
Saw daftpunk last night. A total stadium show but with an urban edge. Somehow the left robot daftpunk dude was sexy. still trying to figure that one out. Their costumes remind me of the moog cookbook.Did they sow the seeds for daftpunk in terms of synthbot sounds...
